APPLICATIONS FOR SEEDING 2026
Seeding: April to June
Join us during one of the most important periods in the farming calendar. As a Seeding Operator, you’ll work with modern John Deere tractors, a Bourgault air cart, and a 60-ft DBS seeder bar to help establish the season’s crop.
Monitor seeding quality and machine performance
Refill seed and fertiliser as required
Maintain accurate records throughout each shift
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, efficient operations
We operate two seeders, and once the season is underway, the program runs around the clock with structured day and night shifts.

APPLICATIONS FOR HARVEST 2026
Harvest: October to December
Harvest is our busiest and most rewarding time of the year on farm. The two main jobs available at Ridley Plains during harvest:
Header Operator - Safely operate and manage one of our John Deere headers, to support efficient and effective harvesting across the property.
Chaser Bin Operator - Keep the harvest operation moving by collecting grain from the headers and transporting grain to the truck and on farm storage. You must be confident in operating large machinery and be able to think critically.
